In order to counter the shortage of professional drivers, which also do not meet the real needs of enterprises, Extra centre de formation has developed a training program for professional drivers to obtain a class 1 and also the possibility of obtaining a Diploma of Vocational Studies in transport (DVS 5291).

Truck driver training program content for obtaining class 1
Training for all kind of heavy vehicle (semi-trailer and straight-body), 154 hours of lessons (44 hours of theory and 110 hours of practice)

Conditions of eligibility for truck training program
- Having a class 5 driver's licence for at least 3 years (2 years for the DVS)
- Pass the S.A.A.Q. exams
- Not having lost more than 3 demerit points on your driving record over the past two years
- No suspension of the driving licence over the last two years for criminal conviction in relation to driving a motor vehicle or due to lost of points.
