Diploma
Diploma of Vocational Studies in Transport par camion (5291) issued by the Ministère de L'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport.
Certification(s)
Issued according to the program completed, such as :
- Driver's licence with Class 1,2 and 3 from the SAAQ with the mention « F » and « M »
- Certification of training on transportation of dangerous goods
- Certificate of training course in industry
- Competence card for air brakes
- Dangerous goods transportation card
- PDIC card from the Canada safety counsel
- WHMIS
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be accepted in this program, you just have to satisfy one of these conditions:
The person holds a Secondary School Diploma or its recognized equivalent
OR
The person is at least 16 years old on September 30th of the school year in which she starts her training and has obtained the Secondary IV credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in programs of studies established by the Minister, or the equivalent recognized learning
OR
The person is at least 18 years old when entering the training program and have functional prerequisite which is the success of the general development test, or the equivalent recognized learning
OR
The person has obtained the Secondary III credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in programs of studies established by the Minister and will continue her general education courses concurrently with her professional training to obtain the Secondary IV credits that she misses in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in programs of studies established by the Minister
AND
The person complies with the requirements of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) to obtain the class 1 licence which are : Detaining a class 5 driver's licence for at least 36 months; having a good driving record : your file must not contain more than 3 demerit points and your driver's licence should have no suspension or revocation for the past 2 years following accumulation of demerit points or a Criminal Code offense committed while driving a motor vehicle
